Disney On Ice: Dare to Dream at the Palace of Auburn Hills

Got the Disney bug? Your kids can get their fix this fall when Disney On Ice returns to the Palace of Auburn Hills.

The traveling skating spectacular is back with Disney On Ice Dare to Dream, which will be at the Palace Sept. 29-Oct. 2, 2016. The show tells four heroic stories featuring Disney princesses Rapunzel from Tangled, Snow White of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Tiana from The Princess and the Frog and Cinderella – along with many of their friends.

“This show is different from anything we’ve ever done, and we’re excited about all the exhilarating aspects we’ve included in this production,” Dare to Dream producer Juliette Feld says in a press release about the show. “This is the first time Rapunzel is featured on the ice with her tremendous amount of hair. And new this year, the princess who started it all, Snow White, will be joining the show with the Seven Dwarfs, bringing more magic than ever before.”

Have a little guy or girl who goes nuts at the sound of the “Hot Dog” song? Then you’ll be glad to know each performance is hosted by everyone’s favorite cartoon pals Mickey and Minnie Mouse.

The show runs about an hour and a half to two hours, which includes a 15- to 20-minute intermission – a good time to check out all the tempting concessions and souvenirs that will be available.
