Frequently asked questions

What ages can participate in youth programs? Youth programs are designed for kids between the ages of 3 and 15, split into four age categories: Preschool Ninjas (ages 3–4), Nano Ninjas (ages 5–7), Novice Ninjas (ages 7–10) and Power Ninjas (ages 10–14).

What does my child focus on at each level? In the Preschool and Nano Ninjas programs, the focus is on making friends and listening to instructions. At the Novice and Power levels, kids work toward physical goals, like the ability to create and stop a swing.

My child is 7 — which class should they be in? Seven-year-olds can participate in either Nano Ninjas or Novice Ninjas. If your child is adventurous and fearless, Novice Ninjas may be the better fit, as it takes place in the main gym where obstacles can be more challenging. If they’re a bit more timid, Nano Ninjas is a great starting point.

Does my child need prior experience to join? No experience is necessary. Each program is designed to ensure newcomers can have a good time, while also offering enough challenge for more experienced ninjas.

Is there an open gym option for kids? The Ninja’s Edge does not offer a youth open gym. Their youth athletic development program prioritizes safety and proper instruction, as younger athletes require specific guidance and supervision to safely execute challenging movements.

How is billing handled for youth classes? A monthly commitment is required. Families are billed for the entire month at the beginning of each month.
