‘Mary Poppins: The Broadway Musical’ at Stagecrafters Baldwin Theatre

Relive a Disney classic when you see it live on stage, select dates Nov. 20, 2015-Dec. 20, 2015, at Stagecrafters Baldwin Theatre.

It’s a classic story sure to bring back memories. Mary Poppins flies into your heart with her umbrella and beloved songs in Mary Poppins: The Broadway Musical, Nov. 20, 2015-Dec. 20, 2015. It’s a “jolly holiday treat for the whole family.”

The Banks family lives in a big, beautiful house in London. George and Winifred Banks believe a strict nanny is needed to care for their two misbehaving children Jane and Michael.

Suddenly, Mary Poppins floats to the doorstep of the Banks’ house and convinces the family she is the best nanny. But she is not like any nanny the children have seen. With the help of her friend Bert, Mary Poppins invites the children in a magical journey.

Featuring popular songs “Chim Chim Cher-ee” and “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious,” the musical teaches children – and adults, too – anything can happen when you put your mind to it. If you love the movie, then you’ll enjoy this musical performed by the local theater troupe Stagecrafters on its main stage.
