Bubble Monkeys

Bath time: loved and loathed by countless children. For those in either camp, though, we’ve found something your little water bug is certain to go "ape" for: Bubble Monkeys!

In a fun spin on classic tub toys, this set of two wands allows your little one to blow bubbles galore while getting squeaky clean (a smart distraction, for sure). This brightly colored plastic pair – one monkey is bright blue, the other a funky fun green – comes with a bubble solution and a dip tray, retailing for about $8.99. The dip tray, which is cleverly shaped like a palm tree, doubles as a suction cup that sticks to the wall of the tub, so you don’t have to worry about storing it. Just hang it and let it dry until next use. (Cute bonus: the monkey wands hook together by their crooked tails.)

How’s it work? Just pour the solution into the dip tray, dunk a monkey – each one is holding a little yellow bubble-producing shape – and let the fun unfold! Since the set contains double wand action, use the second to create bubbles right along with your little one (in between scrubbing behind their ears, that is). It’s primo for interactive play for mom and dad, too.

This cool, affordable toy gives you all the time you need to get your little one cleaned up as he or she remains blissfully occupied. And who knows? Bath time might wind up more fun than a barrel of monkeys!
