Thunder Over Michigan Air Show

Don’t miss this unique chance to scope out the U.S. Navy Blue Angels! Every summer, families from all over southeast Michigan gather at Willow Run Airport in Ypsilanti for the Thunder Over Michigan Air Show July 23-24, 2011. The Blue Angels take over the sky and amaze patrons with their antics in the air. History buffs will love the World War II reenactments – both Pacific and European. Kids will be dazzled by the cool aerial “fight” between two military aircrafts – an A-4 Skyhawk and a MIG-17. And don’t forget to take a ride on a B-17.

Whether you love airplanes or history, this annual event is great fun for parents and children!
