PLAYlive Nation Gaming Lounge in Ann Arbor

Does your kid love Xbox? Now he or she can stop by this new spot in Briarwood Mall to try the latest games.

On-screen fun collides with IRL community at PLAYlive Nation – and now, the national franchise has opened its first social gaming lounge in Michigan.

The new lure at Ann Arbor’s Briarwood Mall lets kids of all ages try the latest video games on Xbox One consoles. That includes popular options for even the littlest gamer, like Angry Birds, Plants vs. Zombies and Overwatch. Play a few minutes or hours, and engage in friendly competition and camaraderie, too.

Candy, fruit snacks, trail mix and beverages are available for purchase. Doing a mini marathon? Outside food is permitted as long as it stays on the center tables and away from gaming consoles. Ask about birthday parties and tournaments, too.

Keep your eyes peeled for locations in Novi, Taylor and Trenton that are anticipated to open in mid-2018.
