Hawkfest at Lake Erie Metropark

Celebrate the fall migration of birds of prey at this year’s Hawkfest at Marshlands Museum in Lake Erie Metropark, Sept. 16-17, 2017.

Taking center stage at this two-day event, of course, are the hawks. Check out these spectacular birds up close and learn some facts about them, too.

In addition, some of  the hawks’ cousins, including eagles, falcons and owls, will also be on hand for demonstrations and educational programming.

You’ll also find plenty of bird-themed games, arts and crafts to take home, guest speakers and more.

The event kicks off at 10 a.m. on both days and lasts until 5 p.m. Admission to the annual experience is $2 but a $10 vehicle permit is required to enter the park. Pre-registration is required.

For more information on the 2017 Hawkfest at Lake Erie Metropark or details on how to register, visit the Metro Parent Calendar.
