Hands-On Holidays at the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum

Families can learn more about science during the holiday season at the annual Hands-On Holidays event, which runs Dec. 26, 2018-Jan. 6, 2019 at the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum.

Besides celebrating St. Nick and the start of the New Year in the upcoming weeks, families can celebrate creativity and imagination at the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum’s Hands-On Holidays event.

“Every single day, we will have hands-on activities that will run until 4 p.m., and every single day there is also a special performer of some sort,” says Nichole Wright, the former public programs and volunteer manager at the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum.

Dec. 26, 2018-Jan. 6, 2019, families can participate in 12 days of various activities, projects and science. Kids can experience the coolest STEAM-focused make-and-take projects, hands-on experiments and more.

You’ll also get to enjoy performances each day, which will include some of the museum’s best performers like The Music Lady Beverly Meyer, Mr. Dan the music man and Professor Ray, who returns with his Everyday Science events.

Join in the family friendly fun – and of course, the hands-on activities! Admission is $12.50 for adults and kids 2 and up. The event times are as follows:

  • 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Dec. 26-29 and Jan. 2-6
  • noon-4 p.m. Dec. 30-Jan. 1
