With her toy unicorn, Uni, by her side, Emily Arrow can do just about anything: She's the fastest runner and a mini-mathematician – until Dawn Bosco moves to town. Watch what ensues when Dawn steals Emily's good luck charm in the stage adaptation of the popular kids book, Fish Face, at Meadow Brook Theatre for two shows on Feb. 11, 2012.

The kids' read gets a musical makeover thanks to the national touring theater ArtsPower. In 2007, the troupe teamed up with author Patricia Reilly Giff (known for her Polk Street School series) to create this special stage adaptation, which is a hybrid of Fish Face and Emily Arrow Promises to Do Better This Year, another book in the series.

As Emily seeks to discover why Dawn stole her unicorn, your child will learn a few important life lessons about growing up – from accepting people's differences to better understanding others.

This ArtsPower's musical, appropriate for kids in grades K-4, hits the stage at this Rochester theater for two performances – at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Tickets are $15.
