What you need to know about Downtown Detroit’s Cider in the City

Celebrate fall with Cider in the City in Downtown Detroit Oct. 11-12 and Oct. 18-19, 2025, with cider, live music and fall family fun at Beacon Park.

The annual Cider in the City event is returning this October, jam-packed with all things autumn to celebrate cider in Downtown Detroit. On the weekends of Oct. 11-12 and Oct. 18-19, gather the family and head to Beacon Park for live music, seasonal eats and other fall festivities that everyone will love.

Food at Cider in the City

The cider, apples and donuts by Blake Farms are the main focus of this event, but there are plenty of other seasonal bites to try. Lumen Detroit will be serving up seasonal cocktails, craft beer and hard cider, and food trucks will be stationed in the park per the following schedule:

  • Oct. 11: Big Bo’s + Little Caesar’s
  • Oct. 12: Los Dos Amigos + Busta Dawgs
  • Oct. 18: Sonny’s Hamburgers + Andiamo
  • Oct. 19: Los Dos Amigos + Andiamo

First, bring your friends and family to share the fall fun – remember that seats are first-come, first-served, so plan accordingly. Pets can join, too, as long as they are leashed and cleaned up after. Finally, leave your food and beverages outside the gate, and bring a respectful attitude. View the Cider in the City website for further prohibited items.
