Kick Off Berry Season at Blake’s New Strawberry Festival

Kick off strawberry season at Blake’s Strawberry Festival. On Saturday, June 22, Blake’s Orchard & Cider Mill will be offering a few sweet strawberry surprises in addition to its usual farm fun activities and yummy menu offerings.

For one day only, families can enjoy extended u-pick hours, strawberry-themed activities, special strawberry treats and a grand finale fireworks show.

Things to do with kids at Blake’s Strawberry Festival

  • Pick your own strawberries! In celebration of the Strawberry Festival, Blake’s u-pick hours will be extended from 8 a.m.-7:30 p.m. A $20 minimum purchase is required. 
  • Enjoy a tasty strawberry treat. The Strawberry Festival menu includes exclusive treats like strawberry filled-donuts, muffins, cupcakes, milkshakes and more. 
  • Rock out with live music and line dancing from 4-10 p.m. 
  • End the night with a dazzling firework show. 

Other things to do with kids at Blake Farms 

Blake’s Strawberry Festival features some super sweet activities and treats, but there are even more ways for families to have fun at Blake’s Orchard & Cider Mill. Make the most of your day by checking out these other kid-friendly activities! 

  • Visit Funland and enjoy more than 25 activities for kids, including a petting zoo, wagon rides, a trike track and even a John Deere speedway. Funland requires an additional $12.95 ticket; children ages 2 and under are free. 
  • Grab a bite to eat at one of Blake’s yummy restaurants or food stands, including Blake’s Tasting Room, Orchard Cafe, Snack Shack, Graze Farm Kitchen and Blake’s Burger Tent.
  • Visit the Farm Store & Bakery to pick up some farm fresh goodies to take home. Fresh strawberries will be available, as well as fresh produce, pies, canned goods and other sundries. 
  • Grown ups can sample Blake’s craft cider, beer and wine at Blake’s Tasting Room. Guests of all ages are welcome, so round up your kiddos and grab a table on the patio!
