In The Steps of Henry Ford Bus Tour

You and the kids can follow in the tire tracks of Mr. Ford in a cool limited-time tour – that's free of charge! The Woodward Avenue Action Association is offering its In The Steps of Henry Ford Bus Tour, a free public bus tour that takes people to a variety of locations that showcase Ford's contributions along the iconic M-1 route.

Happening on Tuesday and Wednesday, these tours depart promptly at 9 a.m. from Credit Union One in Ferndale. From there, buses venture to the following places: the Ford Highland Park Building, the site of Henry Ford's First Boarding House, the dry dock where he served his apprenticeship, his Boston-Edison Home and the Ford Piquette Plant.

Tours are free, but people will be asked to fill out an online survey after the experience.

See the Metro Parent listing for more details about the In The Steps of Henry Ford Bus Tour.
