40+ unique camps keep summer exciting at Camp Mirage

Ages 5-14 can explore themed day camps at six metro Detroit locations, with flexible schedules and options for every kind of kid.

Camp Mirage runs on variety. Themes like Lego Minecraft, Floor Is Lava, Hollywood Movie Making, Eco Art and Pokémon give campers plenty of ways to try something new or dive deeper into what they already love.

With six metro Detroit locations and more than 40 themed day camps, Camp Mirage makes it easy for families to build a summer around their child’s interests while keeping the same welcoming camp atmosphere.

“Camp Mirage delivers epic days and lifelong memories — every single week,” says Founder Cara Trost. “With 40+ themed camps to choose from, kids step into a brand-new adventure each session, creating nonstop excitement all summer long.”

Why Camp Mirage stands out

Camp Mirage brings “the excitement, camaraderie and feel of an overnight camp, all in a day camp setting,” Trost says. Across locations, counselors build that atmosphere through traditions, team spirit and a sense of belonging that helps campers settle in quickly.

They also help shape how campers grow over the course of the summer, teaching and guiding kids while building self-confidence, social skills and independence. “We treat every camper like family,” Trost says.

By the end of the week, many kids leave feeling like Camp Mirage is “their camp, their family and their home away from home.”

Popular themed camps include:
