This annual offers several distances to choose from – the Strategic Staffing Solutions 10k Turkey Trot, the 5k Stuffing Strut, and the family-friendly Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Mashed Potato Mile. All races finish on Atwater, behind Huntington Place, next to Riverwalk.

Take a self-guided scavenger hunt through the trails to look for clues and reasons why it's good to be thankful this season. Drop off your completed scavenger hunt and earn a prize. All ages welcome. Registration required.

Help less fortunate families at this annual 5K walk and run. Open to all ages. Canned good donations are also being accepted at the race and will allow entry into a raffle for prizes donated by local businesses. Registration required.

Wear your Halloween costume and go trunk-or-treating in the Redford Aldersgate parking lot. Event space is limited and pre-registration is required.

Families and local business/organizations open up the trunks of their cars for trick or treaters. There will be a kid friendly spooky movie in the gym after trunk or treating. Registration required.

Don your family-friendly costume and collect candy from the decorated cars. Bring in donations of candy, non-perishable food items and gently used clothes for children, sizes infant to XL (14/16).

Local kids help “unwrap” the city's storefronts, which have been festively decorated for the holiday season. Always held on the day before Thanksgiving.

Join Peppa on an exciting camping trip with George and her friends. The live show features singing, dancing, games and surprises. There is also flashing lights, haze and confetti.

This annual will feature live music, hayrides, a straw maze, photo opportunities, inflatables, rides, cider and donuts and candy for all children 12 and under. The first 400 kids get a free pumpkin.
