Edsel and Eleanor Ford House Offers Free Admission and Activity Kits

Visit the historic Edsel and Eleanor Ford Hose from Oct. 6-Nov. 30, 2020, to score free admission and an educational activity kit for your kids.

Is your child struggling with virtual schooling? Take a break from the screen to visit the Edsel and Eleanor Ford House in Grosse Point Shores.

Thanks to the support of the Ford Motor Company fund, this historic estate, which was once home to the Ford family, is offering free admission and educational kits for kids 12 and under through Nov. 30, 2020.

These kits include a bird spotting guide, leaf identification pack, coloring pages and binoculars so kids can make the most of their visit to the 87-acre estate.

Ford House is also offering virtual workshops for families who don’t feel comfortable visiting for just $5 per family and onsite tours for $2 per person. Admission for adults and kids 12 and over is $5 per person.

Families that visit should be aware that the Ford House is still upholding strict COVID-19 safety guidelines, including the use of a face mask when interacting with other visitors or staff.

To reserve a ground pass with free admission for kids, visit the Ford House website. No on-site ticket sales are available.
