Give Mother Earth a bear hug at the MI Earth Day Fest at Rochester Municipal Park April 26-28, 2019.
The three-day Earth Day celebration is one of the largest in the state, boasting dozens of environmentally-friendly vendors, presentations, prizes, contests and other fun activities.
Bring your kids to the Kids Korner and let your little ones scamper around a tiny house, straw bale maze and arts and crafts station. You can even stop by the vendor booths for face painting and caricatures.
Parents can participate in health screenings or get a massage and everyone can grab lunch at one of the healthy spots in the food court.
Vendors at the fest will provide earth-friendly products and services too. Pick up organic soaps, essential oils, hand-crafted jewelry, local honey, dog treats, candles and hundreds of other products.
If you’d like to spend the weekend learning, the Michigan Earth Day Festival has you covered. Check out presentations on topics like sustainability, foods that heal, going green and many more.
There’s also a handy spot to recycle electronics, small appliances, books, office equipment, clothing and shoes; plus the police are collecting pharmaceuticals to be disposed of.

The MI Earth Day Fest is free and open to the public. Hours are 4-8 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday.
Park is free and available in any public parking lot. Rochester Municipal Park is located at 333 Water St. in Rochester.
