Monster Jam was originally scheduled for Ford Field in downtown Detroit on March 14-15, 2020. Due to the coronavirus outbreak, though, tickets for the Saturday, March 14 event will be honored on Saturday, July 25 and tickets for Sunday, March 15 will be honored on Sunday, July 26. Section and seat location assignments will remain the same.
Kick off the festivities at a Pit Party, which runs from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday and 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on Sunday. This event before the main event offers fans a chance to get up close and personal with the trucks and drivers in the Monster Jam show.
Here, families can take pictures with drivers, get autographs, snap photos with their favorite truck and more. A Monster Jam ticket, plus a pit pass for an additional $15, is required to attend this part of the fun.
Gates for the main Monster Jam event open about an hour and a half prior to showtime. Early arrival time is strongly encouraged to ensure a close parking space. The show starts at 7 p.m. on Saturday and 3 p.m. on Sunday so make sure you and your little ones are in your seats by then and ready to watch some dirt fly.
You’ll see all your favorite trucks – including Grave Digger and El Toro Loco – smash their way through tough obstacles right before your eyes.
Monster Jam is perfect for children who love trucks and action, but keep in mind that the noise level may be loud in the stadium, so earplugs are suggested for young children.
There will be opportunities for refreshments and food throughout the event, so make sure to bring your appetite.
Ticket prices range from $15 to $100. Children younger than 2 get in free if they don’t occupy a seat; kids ages 2 and older must have a ticket.
Parking starts at $15 per vehicle. Be sure to allow extra time for traffic, weather and parking.
