Looking for fun things to do in southeast Michigan with your family? Stop by the Chesterfield Arts and Music Festival at Bradenburg Park Aug. 29-30, 2015.
Don’t miss the chance to purchase works of art from a variety of vendors throughout the weekend. There will be more than 50 vendors at the two-day event.
In addition to art, live musical performances will be taking place. Festival-goers can dance along to the sounds of the Meldrum Brothers, DJ Kenny Love as well as James Wallin’ and the Reefermen.
Children are able to participate in the Kids Creative Corner through bubble painting, noodle art as well as coloring.
Classes are also offered for adults who are interested in painting their own masterpiece with the “Sip, Dip and Paint” program. After finishing your piece, you are able to wrap it up and take it home. Participation in this activity costs $15.
Vendors will be selling everything from glass and jewelry to fiber art and ceramics. There will also be gourmet food vendors as well as individuals selling body art and essential oils.
Then, you can also quench your thirst and satisfy your appetite with food and drinks provided by Hamlin Pub for the festival.
