Metro Detroit Libraries with Drop-In Homework Help

Local libraries are offering students free tutoring, study sessions, and online resources – no appointment needed.

For families across Metro Detroit, libraries are more than just a place to check out books – they’re an essential hub for academic support. Many local libraries offer drop-in homework help, free tutoring, or online tools that help students stay on track in school.

Whether your child needs assistance with math problems, writing assignments or preparing for a big test, several library systems in the region have stepped up to provide accessible, no-cost educational support.

Here’s a guide to where you can find this valuable service.

Note: Not every library offers live homework assistance. Most have online resources that are available 24/7, as needed.
