Camp Mirage provides the excitement, camaraderie and feel of an overnight camp, all in a day camp setting.
You’ll pick up your kids blissfully happy, inevitably tired, a little dirty and ready to do it again the next day. We treat every camper like family. Our excellent counselors teach and guide campers and help build self-confidence, social skills and independence. Ignite your child’s imagination this summer at the College for Creative Studies. Our camps provide a vibrant environment where the primary emphasis is on having fun while exploring the limitless boundaries of creativity. Each week, campers choose from four specialized tracks, featuring exciting subjects such as Animation, Fashion Design, Game Design, Glass Blowing, Painting, Photography and Video Production. Designed to fit your family’s schedule, our Monday through Friday programs are tailored by age group. Ages 8-13 meet from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., while ages 14-18 meet from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Whether picking up a paintbrush for the first time or building a digital world, students will learn from expert instructors and connect with fellow young artists. Before and after enrichment is free to parents and guardians who work in Detroit.

Ignite is an artist development camp designed for high school students who want to take their musical talents to the next level. Our expert instructors will help students develop their songwriting, music production and performance skills through collaborative performances, group lessons and workshops tailored to their artistic journey.
Lyric Project is a two-week workshop that helps high school students learn about songwriting, music production and how to communicate powerful, authentic emotions through music. This program is ideal for students looking to enhance their songwriting abilities. It offers group sessions led by teaching artists along with opportunities to collaborate with current recording artists and legendary Motown alumni.
Spark is a day camp designed to introduce middle school students to the world of artist development. Students will write songs, perform and explore different career opportunities in the music industry. Spark aims to foster creativity and self-expression while celebrating the Motown legacy.
