Meet the Couple Behind Clawson’s Sabbath Coffee Roasters

We sat down with Trever and Miranda Graham, the owners of Sabbath Coffee Roasters in Clawson to find out what inspired them to start the shop.

To say husband-wife duo, Trevor and Miranda Graham, love coffee might just be an understatement. The pair met over a coffee in 2012, married and before long began planning family vacations with their sons around must-visit coffee shops.

Now, they’ve opened their own must-visit shop with a coffee roaster imported from Turkey and a proprietary line of coffee. (They say the Ritual House Blend has notes of lemon, praline pecan and berry jam.)

The parents created Sabbath Coffee Roasters, 24 E. 14 Mile, Clawson, on the notion of needing to slow down and enjoy the moment. It’s pretty easy to do with the tasty coffee and espresso drinks. Sabbath also offers a slushy machine for frozen lattes and cider, plus pastries delivered daily by Cannelle by Matt Knio.

It’s open 7 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Saturday, 7 a.m.-1 p.m. Sunday. A walk-up window is available, too. For more information, visit them online.
