Ann Arbor Mom Creates The Birth Journal for Special Moments

The Birth Journal helps moms write out their pregnancy experience and creates a special way to share your journey with your child as they get older.

Are you looking for a unique and personal way to commemorate the birth of your child? Try out The Birth Journal – a Mitten-made find.

This keepsake journal was created by Ann Arbor mom Julie Tobi who felt like that there wasn’t really a personal way for moms to record the stories of their pregnancies and birthing experience.

“Birth stories are simply too incredible to be tucked away on computers or not written at all. Writing our birth stories in The Birth Journal is primarily for us mamas, but it is also a precious gift we can give to our babies one day,” Tobi says. “Imagine reading all about the day you were born written in your mother’s handwriting – I would cherish that!”

Each lined page of the 72-page journal is void of headers or fill-in-the-blank areas and has enough room for mom to write the most intricate details of her experience in the way that she likes best – plus six blank pages for photos and a page to record baby’s measurements.

The Birth Journal comes cloth-wrapped with gold foil lettering on the cover and includes a birth story writing guide with tips making the most of your journal.
